Hello Friends -
You came to school today to learn, and this afternoon your learning and math practicing work time will be supervised by Mrs. Garcia. The "To Do List" below should be completed in order and using your best effort.
Any tasks that you complete should be stapled together (including lined paper used to show your work) and placed in my Vocabulary & Other turn-in basket. Be sure to put your name on your work.

- Put on headphones and watch my Solving Factor Puzzles video (12 minutes) using this link.
- Grab a Factor Puzzles worksheet from the horseshoe table. Complete it with your best effort. If you need to reference a multiplication table, one can be found on the wall near the window in the back of the room.
- Put on headphones and watch my Partial Quotients Strategy for Long Division of Whole Numbers video (18 minutes) using this link. Please note that this video was used in fifth grade a few years ago, so any comments I make about a "ticket in the door" for class tomorrow may be ignored. You may still want to make a list of the steps for this division strategy, especially if the strategy is new or unfamiliar to you.
- Grab a 7-12 Homework worksheet from the horseshoe table. Complete it with your best effort. Use lined paper to show your work if the sheet does not provide enough space for you to show your work neatly and organized.
- Put on headphones and watch my Partial Quotients Strategy for Long Division with One Decimal video (17 minutes) using this link.
- Grab a 7-13 Homework worksheet from the horseshoe table. Complete it with your best effort. Use lined paper to show your work if the sheet does not provide enough space for you to show your work neatly and organized.
- If tasks #1-6 have been completed, please be sure to turn your work in to the Vocabulary & Other turn-in basket.
- If time remains you may work on other assignments (Hands On Equations, Lesson 5?), read independently, use Quizlet to practice for our Word Study quiz tomorrow, or complete sessions of XtraMath.
