Good Afternoon Green Team Friends!
I am at a meeting this afternoon, so Mrs. Girschle will be supervising your math lab/vocab work time. Please remember to be on your best behavior for her. Notes left by subs will certainly impact your scores on our Classroom Effort Rubric, either positively or negatively.
Here is your Math Lab/Vocab "To Do List" for today:

I am at a meeting this afternoon, so Mrs. Girschle will be supervising your math lab/vocab work time. Please remember to be on your best behavior for her. Notes left by subs will certainly impact your scores on our Classroom Effort Rubric, either positively or negatively.
Here is your Math Lab/Vocab "To Do List" for today:
- Please start by completing your Word Study Crossword for this week (cap, ceiv, cept). Ask Mrs. Girschle politely for one of these. When it is finished, please file it in your yellow folder.
- Then, your Hands On Equations, Lesson 5 sheet was due yesterday, so now it is late. If you have not finished this sheet -- OR if you have finished the sheet but never showed it to me -- please show it to Mrs. Girschle now so that she may check you off my list.
- Use this link to correct your answers on the Hands On Equations, Lesson 4 sheet. Circle any questions that you got wrong.
- Next, use this link to correct your answers to the Hands On Equations, Lesson 5 sheet. Circle any questions that you got wrong.
- After you have graded both your Lesson 4 and Lesson 5 sheets, please take a minute to re-do any problems that you got wrong on those sheets.
- Then, use this link to watch the Hands On Equations, Lesson 6 video.
- After you have watched the Lesson 6 video, please ask Mrs. Girschle (politely) for the Hands On Equations, Lesson 6 worksheet. You may use the remainder of class time to work on this sheet. It is due tomorrow during Math Lab/Vocab time.
If you happen to finish all of the above tasks and have class time remaining, these are your choices for what to do next:
- Take a look at my Social Studies website post from yesterday afternoon and begin studying for our Government Test on Friday.
- Read in your independent reading novel. Remember that pages read at school do count toward your nightly read 30 pages assignment!
- Complete a session (or more than one!) in XtraMath. This would be an especially good choice if you came to Bursley late this morning because of band, orchestra, or Trans Math.
- Use Quizlet to review for our Word Study quiz this week -- Lesson #5 (cap, ceiv, cept).
- Finish other homework.
