Included below is your homework video for Monday evening, November 17. This must be watched before class on Tuesday. Please pay careful attention to directions about a Ticket in the Door provided in the video. I will be looking for these "tickets" at the start of class tomorrow. Enjoy!
Hi my math friends. :)
This morning you have a "To Do List" for math. Good luck!
Your Unit 2 Review Packet was due today.
Once Mrs. Steele or Mrs. VanDyken has seen that it is completed, you're welcome to use the answer key linked here to check your work. Happy Studying! Let me know if you have any questions. White Team Math Friends, Your video for homework is included below. Remember that you'll need to take great notes in your math notebook while you watch the video. These notes (6 problems) will be your "Ticket in the Door" tomorrow morning. Enjoy! Reminder: You have three problems to try for homework tonight. You should be using ratios to solve these problems.
Your homework tonight is to complete the four problems presented toward the end of class. Remember that you must show work for each of these problems, similar to what Mrs. Steele would do.
If you need help OR if you still don't have a complete "cheat sheet" of ratios used for measurement conversions, please re-watch our homework video from last night (see post below). Here are the four problems: (11) 5 km = _____ m (12) 11 m = _____ mm (13) 8 cm = _____ mm (14) 2 L = _____ mL Good Luck! Included below is your homework video for Tuesday Evening, October 14. Please watch the entire thing and pay close attention, as you'll be solving problems like these on your own in class tomorrow. After you have watched the video, you will need to submit a Video Homework Response Form. You may access that using this link (click here) or using the link along the right side of this window. Thanks! Hi my math friends. :)
The button below should take you to our notes from class today. The first two pages are White Team notes about Metric and Customary System conversions, the second two pages are our Green Team notes about Metric and Customary System conversions, and the final page was done with the White Team and is about time conversions. I would like you to come to class tomorrow with your own notes about Metric, Customary, and Time conversions. These notes should help you. :) Good luck! Hi my math friends! Included below is your homework video for tonight. The first two problems should be a review of what we studied in class today -- How to turn ratio relationships into rates and unit rates. The third problem is an introduction into what we will cover in class tomorrow -- How to turn rates and unit rates into ratios, and how to use those ratios to solve problems. After you have watched the video, please fill out the Video Homework Response Form at this link (click here). This morning we will be taking our pretest for the next math unit. Please use this link (click here) to access the assessment. Enter your first and last name in the box provided. You may use a calculator or scrap paper to solve these problems, but no other resources may be used.
Please do your best, but don't get stressed...this is only a pretest. |
