- Write what you’re starting with as a fraction with 1 in the denominator.
- Find facts (from your purple sheet) that will help you solve.
- Choose conversion factors.
- Cross out words. Make sure you’re ending with what you need to solve the problem.
- Zip across the top, zip across the bottom.
- You’re done when the denominator of your answer fraction equals 1.
